Anime Watch #2

ANIME WATCH #2: Anime Watch is a news column about Anime (Japanese Animation) by Jay Scott Raymond originally published by the Fabulous Fiction Bookstore in Worcester, Mass. The reviews herein are the opinion of the writer and in no way reflect the opinions of those not smart enough to love Anime.

Hi there! Those of you who read my first column may have noticed that it has taken a little more than a week for me to get to this column (more like 2 or 3 months). What can I say; excrement happens.

Briefly recapping Anime Watch #1: I introduced Anime (Annie-may) as the solution for those that like animation but are sick of little kiddie cartoons. Anime has excellent animation and stories that don't insult your intelligence. I reviewed AKIRA, an excellent animated movie; a must see for any aspiring Anime lover. I also reviewed the Robotech series which many of you have probably seen on TV.
