BUBBLEGUM CRASH Vol. 1-3 $34.95 each This is the sequel series to Bubblegum Crisis. It wraps up a lot of the loose ends from the,previous series and leaves us with a possible ending. It by no means closes off the possibility of further adventures though.
This series has a little different focus than it's predecessor. Here the
Knight Sabers see less of Genom because they are busy fighting the
minions and machinations of a super boomer who is under no-one's control
but his own. His plan is to exterminate the human race and replace it
with a boomer society. First the Knight Sabers must fight those
manipulated by the super boomer and then finally confront the boomer
leader himself.
The Bubblegum Crisis/Crash series is extremely well done. The animation
is spectacular, the story is gripping and there are 11 tapes of it for
extended enjoyment. This is one of my favorites; I loaned it to a friend
of mine who was just getting into Anime and it hooked him right in. He is
forever one of us now! BWA-HA-HA!
