Riding Bean (45 min.) $34.95 This a great little action adventure
flick, set in modern Chicago.
The story centers around Bean Bandit, a driver for hire who has worked on both sides of the law. The show opens on a bank robbery. Two bank robbers (one a child) pull a heist and escape with Bean Bandit who they hired as their get away driver. During the course of the escape the younger thief (a young girl) removes her mask and the upper part of her coveralls, revealing a frilly dress; she then dons a wig and looks out the window of the car just in time for a warehouse security camera to take her picture. That done, she puts away the wig and re-zips her coveralls and puts on a hat. When they get to the thieves own car they discover that the thieves only managed to steal barely enough to cover Bean's $40,000 driving fee. The thieves are upset but Bean says he is taking the amount they agreed upon, its their fault if they didn't steal enough for themselves to have some.
The next day a man claiming to be a security guard for the Grimwood
family (local bigwigs) hired Bean to deliver young Chelsea Grimwood, who
he says he just rescued from some kidnappers, to the Grimwood estate. The
watcher will notice Chelsea looks just like the young thief from
yesterday when she had the wig on. Suddenly a group of people open fire
on Bean's office with automatic weapons from a building across the
street. The security guard is apparently killed but everyone else
survives. Bean and his partner Rally take Chelsea to the Grimwood estate
only to be informed that Mr. Grimwood had, that morning, taken a large
ransom to some kidnappers to get his daughter back only to be taken
himself. Now the Grimwood guards think Bean is with the kidnappers and he
has to make a hasty retreat. The police show up with a picture from the
warehouse security camera, apparently implicating Bean in the kidnapping.
Bean has been framed! You can bet he won't take this lying down. Can Bean
catch the kidnappers, get the ransom money, evade the police and clear
his name? Buy the tape and find out.
