Background midi: Miyu ending theme

Each tape has two 25 min. OVAs for a total of four episodes. Set in contemporary times, these stories revolve around two main characters. Miyu is a vampire who looks and occasionally acts like a girl in her early teens. Miyu's purpose and duty is to hunt down and banish supernatural creatures called the Shinma from the Earth. Shinma doesn't translate easily into English; loosely translated it means some combination of god and demon. Most of the Shinma decided to leave the Earth to humans long ago and now dwell in some nether dimension referred to simply as the Dark. One clan of Shinma, however, decided not to go. The leaders of the Shinma designated the vampire clan, who are also Shinma, to guard the gateway to the Dark and to hunt down the members of the recalitrant Shinma clan and banish them to the Dark. To this end, Miyu, the current guardian, has been given sufficient power to execute her duties as well as immunity to the usual dangers for vampires(sunlight, religious symbols, etc.).
The other main character is a spiritualist named Himiko. She investigates alleged supernatural occurrences, does exorcisms, etc. for a fee. Himiko first encounters Miyu while investigating the alleged possession of a young girl. The girl's parents ask her to perform an exorcism. Himiko fails to exorcise whatever is possessing the girl, so she forgoes her fee, apologizes and leaves. Something here piques her interest however, and upon further investigation she discovers the girl's parents have been dead for some time. She goes back to investigate the situation as Miyu arrives to deal with the Shinma that has possessed the girl. For Himiko things go downhill from there.
This is only what happens in part of the first episode on the first tape.
The stories are interesting and the animation is great. If you like
vampire or supernatural stories you should pick this one up!
